Donna McMorris has been homeschooling for 20+ years. She has five children, 4 daughters and a son. Her four daughters are homeschool graduates and her son is in high school. Donna's experience with multi-level classrooms comes from her involvement with homeschool co-ops and teaching at a cottage school. She holds a BA in Education and is working on her Masters to become a reading specialist. Donna most enjoys teaching 3rd - 8th grade students and teaching students to read, but has found a new passion recently working with the high school students.

Nick is a Mississippi native who moved to Jackson in 2004 to attend Union University, where he met his wife, Sharon, and graduated with a B.A. in History. Nick also holds a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and is the preaching elder of Christ Community Church in Jackson. Nick gained a passion for teaching through serving as youth pastor, small-group leader, Sunday School teacher, and pastor for multiple churches in Georgia, Mississippi, and Tennessee. In his free time, Nick enjoys reading, gaming, and gardening.

Isaiah Niess grew up as a homeschooler in Somerville Tennessee. After moving to Florida and finishing high school through dual enrollment, he pursued a degree in biochemistry at Southeastern University. He went on to graduate summa cum laude from SEU as a School of Honors Scholar. Through his time at SEU, Isaiah acquired a passion for teaching, working as a TA and a tutor for 3 of the 4 years. On a personal note, Isaiah enjoys music, science, and spending time with friends and family.

Julie and her husband Bill began their homeschooling journey in the early 1990s. Since that time it has been Julie’s passion to help families navigate through their homeschooling journey. Earning her American Montessori Society Early Childhood Certification in the early 2000s, Julie was the Early Childhood Classroom Lead Teacher and Business Administrator for a small private Montessori School located in Jackson, TN. Julie began work with HomeLife Tutorial in 2015 as Classroom Administrator and Billing Manager. “My passion is our families and supporting them through the journey of educating their children.”

Nick, Harley, and Ian are all HomeLife Tutorial Alumni and have gained a passion for teaching. They are very excited to have the opportunity to help our teachers and impact our students. Nick is a hard worker and everyone that comes in contact with him is blessed by him in some way! Harley is a helper and loves to jump in wherever she can to assist teachers or support students. Ian, our newest graduate, loves working with students and they love him!
Nick will be assisting Mrs. Julie with the Launch class on most days, while Harley will work as the office assistant, teachers' assistant in LAUNCH, and reading tutor for LEAP. Ian is now Coach Ian, leading each class in structured games with specific learning objectives in mind, including social emotional learning goals. |

Trudy holds an M.A.Ed. in Gifted Education and a Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. She has taught students of all ages in K-12th grades in general, gifted, and special education in public, private, and homeschool settings. Trudy has also served as a special education professor in four different universities, recently retiring from the University of North Alabama. She homeschooled her two sons at different points in their education to accommodate their learning differences (dyslexia, ADHD, and Giftedness); homeschooled two nieces for a couple of years; and taught history in a homeschool cooperative.

Bryanna "Bry" is passionate about empowering and connecting with the next generation and is honored to be part of serving students through HLT. Bry loves working with students and helping them through struggles and engaging them through "circle" time, working through personal development, and encouraging them through relationships. Bry was homeschooled herself and is now married and has a precious new pup named "Dude". She holds her Bachelors in both Theatre and Psychology and a Masters in Social Work.

Danielle Judge is a native of South Florida who transplanted to West Tennessee in 2017 to attend Union University, where she met her husband, Ethan, and graduated with a B.A. in English Literature. She is a K-12 homeschool graduate with a passion for inspiring kids to become voracious readers, articulate writers, and lovers of wisdom. Her education experience includes teaching geography at an academic summer camp, leading book discussions for middle and high schoolers, and working as a writing tutor with Union University’s Writing Center. Danielle works for HLA's online programs and is continuing on as our communications specialist and historian.

Rachel Adams has been with HomeLife for over 5 years and is passionate about homeschooling and meeting the needs of students and parents. She has two children, one an HLA graduate and the other a Senior. She is married to Tom, who also works at HLA and oversees security and emergency plans along with Rachel on both campuses. Rachel serves as the Office Adminstrator for HLA and oversees both the HLA Administrative Offices as well as the Student Campus. She also works with teachers and staff to find the needed resources, supplies, fixtures, and tools needed for the classes and coordinates events held each year.
