PAYMENT AGREEMENT & AUTHORIZATION The goal of HomeLife Tutorial (HLT) is to provide affordable options as a local outreach to homeschooling families. HomeLife Tutorial operates on a very controlled budget. An integral part of maintaining that budget is the timely receipt of all registration fees, tuition, resource fees, etc., as well as a commitment from our families so that we can commit to our instructors for their time. In order to accomplish this, we have adopted the following tuition payment policy. This policy will be strictly adhered to and enforced by the director and board.
I hereby authorize HomeLife Tutorial to initiate debit entries to my debit or credit card account that they have on file, and I authorize the institution to accept and to debit the amount of such entries to my account. Each debit shall be made each month in an amount equal to the tuition agreed upon in the financial agreement. I also authorize registration fees, lab, art, and resource fees and other tuition to be debited at the time due according to this financial agreement.
All fees are handled directly through HomeLife Tutorial billing. This authorization is to remain in effect until all amounts payable to HomeLife Tutorial are paid in full, or until I revoke the agreement for reasons stated in the financial agreement. Any revocation shall not be effective until HomeLife Tutorial has received written notification from me of my desire to terminate this agreement at least 30 days prior to the 5th of the month. HomeLife Tutorial can revoke the agreement at any time. It is the account holder's responsibility to notify HomeLife Tutorial of any account changes. I declare the above information is true and correct and I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to notify HomeLife Tutorial of any changes to my services or to my credit card account.
TUITION Tuition is paid directly to HomeLife Tutorial. The tuition is used to pay for the instructors that you, the parent, have hired to tutor your children. It is also used to offset administration and operation expenses.
Tuition is calculated per family and is billed monthly for 10 months (August-May) unless you choose the Semester or Annual Payment Plan. If you pay your tuition in full by August 15, you will receive a 5% discount. We divide your tuition over a full 10 months to offer the lowest monthly payment possible which means that you will have a December payment also. Semester options are not discounted.
NOTE: All curriculum and most resources are included as well as most school supplies and breakfast items. Students may be asked to pick up their own copies of literature/readers and other specific project supplies. HomeLife Learning courses are included for full-time students. NON-SUFFICIENT FUNDS AND LATE PAYMENTS A $25 late fee will be assessed after the 25th of the month for payments not received or that may be declined. If an account becomes 30 days past due, students will not be allowed to attend class or participate in school activities until the past due balance is paid. A $25 charge will be assessed for any payments returned/declined by the financial institution. All payments will be required in cashier's check or money order after the second returned check payment.
PAYMENTS First Tuition Payment will be drafted on or around August 15. Failure to pay the first month's tuition by September 1 may result in student(s) being removed from the class roster and placed on a waiting list until tuition is received. This could jeopardize your student's enrollment in classes. Your student will not be able to begin classes until tuition is paid. I am aware of the stated Tuition and Fees and understand that payment will be charged to my account on the 15th of each month for the Monthly Payment Plan, otherwise payment is due in full by September 1. I understand and am aware that this is a financial commitment to HomeLife Tutorial for the entire school year, and I will be responsible for payment of the entire tuition per the guidelines above.
MAKE-UP CLASSES In rare cases where a class is not made up, credit will be given at the end of the year for classes cancelled by HomeLife Tutorial that are not made up or not provided virtually or through Google Classroom. No refunds will be given when a student misses classes for sickness, vacation, etc. Students will be responsible for contacting the instructor for assignments.
CLASS SIZE All classes require a minimum of 5 students and have a maximum of 10-16 students.
DROP POLICY You have until August 15 to drop a class in which a student is registered. You will receive a refund for any fees paid less the non-refundable registration fee at the time of the drop. After August 15, you will be responsible to meet the financial agreement for the semester. We realize that unexpected things happen in life. Each situation is reviewed, prayed over and discussed by the Board before making final decisions regarding this financial obligation. You will be expected to pay the current semester in full to be released from this agreement.
