EmBlaze is a special program for exceptional student learners needing dedicated time to focus on social skills, executive functioning skills, and positive peer interactions. EmBlaze is held on the HLA Student Campus on Mondays and is sponsored by our student outreach program, Enlightening the Dark, through the Homeschool CARE Foundation. This is a two-part program meeting Monday mornings 9:30-11:30 and then from 11:30-1:30. There are separate classes for 4th-6th grade students and 7th-12th grade students.
EmBlaze "Lunch and Learn" (12:00-1:30) on Thursdays for our LAUNCH students and other students ages 9-13 is ideal for students needing a safe and encouraging space to learn and practice social skills. This can be a great option for students with social anxiety. During this time, students will enjoy a sit-down family style lunch together which provides a time for students to socialize and where staff can encourage fun, uplifting time together.. Afterward, there is time with our experienced staff and teachers to work on social and executive functioning skills using CHOICES curriculum.

The morning program (9:30-11:30) is dedicated to eligible HLT students who attend our integrated day program (Tu,W,Th) and who are needing academic support. During this time, HLT students will receive tutoring and "pre-teaching" for the upcoming week of classes. This is offered for Launch students (4th-6th) and Prep/Pilot students (7th-12th) for $99/mo. All Day Program for HLT Integrated Students (Combo) $149/mo
