 Dear Parents,
What a fun & busy day we shared! We were all about Pete the Cat! We all were successful at tying our shoes and even got our LICENSES! We did Pete language arts activities, Pete the cat math activities, and made our own Pete. Please check your child's school envelope and make sure it is empty for next Thursday. I sent home some Pete activities you can share with your child, not a requirement, and no need to return to school. Watch the Pete songs on youtube with your child, they loved them. We also have the opportunity to see Pete the Cat at the Dixie on November 20th, please sign up ASAP so we can get a Reservation made. $8 per ticket, ages 2 & under can sit on a parent's lap for free.
Next Thursday we will begin our Five in a Row book list and activities relating to the book, Three Names. We will also begin All About Reading volume 2 lesson 1. The lesson (will be whole group) may be new to some and review for others, however  we will follow it up with center opportunities with differentiated skills available for all levels.
If you have any questions or concerns feel free to email or send me a Remind text.
Thursday is Character dress up day for Spirit Week for HLA, Please feel free to dress up as a  friendly character. (Not mandatory)
Have a great week!
Mrs. Elliott
